Welcome to the Regional College of Health Sciences.
The vision of this college aims at providing comprehensive education to all in a local environment. This is only achieved by creating a better learning environment, professional teachers with sound knowledge in their respective fields, providing well-equipped laboratories, a very good course content, regular assessment of students, and proper evaluation. Students' participation in workshops, health camps, mini-research projects other than regular writing of practical logbooks and records, and internal assessment examinations helps in understanding the learning process. The sole purpose of our college is to prepare the students in a way so that they are knowledgeable, employable with strong command over their practical skills.
Achieving excellence will always be a continuous journey for our college. I anticipate the full cooperation of the student fraternity, their parents, and well-wishers of the college. Regional College of Health Sciences is an Allied Health Science College established by Northeast Regional Trust under the affiliation of Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences. Govt of Assam and recognized by Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt of Assam. The institute's motto is to provide quality education in a state of an art college environment with well-equipped laboratories and dedicated faculties. The institute is offering a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology, which are essential programmes in the field of medical laboratory science for better treatment of diseases.
I hope the institute will achieve its goal and reach a new height in education.

There is no end to learning. The whole life is too short to learn and understand even a small field of interest. To make the learning process affordable for all sections of people of Assam, Northeast Regional Trust (NERT), made a humble beginning with the Regional College of Health Sciences (RCHS) to promote education in Northeastern Region. We aim to deliver quality education in the field of Health Science and achieve academic excellence. We are welcoming students from all corners of India and also from neighboring countries. My message to you, according to the Chinese Proverb- “Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself. ” So, Dear students, RCHS has opened the door for you to make an entry for better education in the field of health sciences.
